1. Who we are

This policy explains how Mitchell Conquer, Mortgage Agent Level 1 (FSRA #M22002911), operating as Conquer Mortgages through The Mortgage Centre - YourMortgageYourWay.ca (FSRA #12462) ("we", "us"), collects, uses and protects your personal information. We follow the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and other applicable Canadian privacy laws.

2. What we collect

• Contact details: name, address, phone number and email
• Financial details: income, employment, assets, debts and credit history
• Identification: date of birth and government-issued ID. We only ask for your Social Insurance Number when a lender requires it, and you can decline
• Property details: address, price, value and down payment
• Mortgage history and banking information
• Website data: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, referring site and campaign parameters

3. How we use it

• To answer your inquiry and give you mortgage advice
• To prepare, submit and manage mortgage applications with lenders and insurers
• To verify your identity and, with your consent, check your credit
• To meet legal and regulatory obligations, including anti-money laundering rules and FSRA requirements
• To contact you before renewal and with relevant updates
• To send marketing emails or texts, only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time
• To improve our website and services

4. Who we share it with

We share your information only as needed to provide our services: with lenders, mortgage default insurers, credit bureaus, appraisers, lawyers, the brokerage and service providers who help us operate (for example, secure application platforms and our CRM), and with regulators or government agencies when the law requires it. We never sell or rent your personal information.

5. Website forms, cookies and analytics

When you submit a form on this site, your answers are sent securely to our customer relationship system so Mitch can follow up. The site may use cookies and analytics tools to understand how pages are used and to measure advertising. You can block cookies in your browser settings.

6. Security and retention

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including encryption in transit, access controls and secure document platforms. We keep mortgage records for as long as required by law and brokerage policy, typically at least seven years after your file closes, then destroy them securely.

7. Your rights

You can ask to access or correct your personal information, withdraw consent (subject to legal and contractual limits) or ask us to delete information we no longer need. You can also complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
